Students were enrolled for commerce Society and they are counseled online for different subjects available in the college.
Activities (2020-21):
- Expert Lecture: On 30th Oct,2020 a lecture was organized by the commerce society regarding investment and insurance schemes. The branch manager of SBI Railway Road delivered an informational talk regarding the economic scenario and how we can save our investment in different schemes.
- Orientation: On 4th November students of commerce society were oriented about the college, different clubs, library facilities, different types of scholarships available in the college and how they can get benefit from it.
- Online webinar: On 25th February 2021 commerce society organised online webinar on the topic ‘The impact of Technological Advancement on Business Environment”. This webinar was organised in collaboration with Rotary Club, Ambala central. Ms Seema Agrawal was organising secretary and Ms Nishu Bansal was convener of the seminar. Dr Tajender Sharma chairman department of commerce kurukshetra University kurukshetra discussed the topic in detail. He told that we cannot ignore or escape from technological advancement because of it we are able to do everything online in corona lockdown. Everybody sitting at home is doing his or her work. Mr B.B. Singla assistant professor Punjabi University Patiala was another speaker of webinar. He told that because of technology and creativity a company can change the taste of its customers. Dr Surjit Angra from Rotary Club Ambala Central welcomed the guest and Nishu thanked everyone. More than 300 participants were present. .
- National Webinar: On 21st June 2021 commerce society along with career guidance and placement cell organised the national Webinar on the topic “career opportunities in stock market” on 21st june 2021. The resource person was Mr. Varun Agarwal, finance Guru at BBN times and professor at IBS India and managing director and CEO at profit idea. The webinar was held on Cisco Webex. The convener of the webinar was Ms Suniti. Co-convener was Ms Seema Agarwal. 142 participants participated in the webinar. Ms Seema Agarwal asked the queries of the participants from Resource person and Ms Suniti presented vote of thanks.
