History

M D S D Girls College was established in 1980 by noted academicians and philanthropists Madho Ram and Daya Ram for offering higher education to young women. The college has a rich heritage that contributes to its own culture. Due to sincere efforts of dedicated education enthusiasts of Shri Sanatan Dharam Sabha, the college started its voyage with the aim of opening up the world of higher education for modest girls. Since then it has been recognized as an institution of higher learning that encourages young women towards scholastic betterment, self-reliance and acquisition of meaningful role in the society. Disseminating knowledge in the society by this holistic and futuristic model of education has been the primary mission of Madho Ram and Daya Ram who have established M D S D Girls College with a vision to imbibe information among the poor and underprivileged girl students.
